The Moroccan Capital Market Authority (AMMC) is participating for the 8th consecutive year in World Investor Week, an international campaign initiated by the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) for the promotion financial education to the general public.

First launched in October 2017, the WIW now mobilizes more than 100 jurisdictions around the world. For this year, the themes will focus on investor resilience, fraud prevention, digital finance and sustainable finance.

In accordance with its 2024-2028 strategic plan, the AMMC makes financial education an essential lever to boost and develop the capital market. It thus multiplies initiatives aimed at facilitating and improving the understanding of the different concepts linked to the capital market. As part of this WIW, the AMMC deployed a program with global actions and other more targeted ones. This includes a national radio campaign from October 14 to November 12, 2024, with education and awareness messages broadcast on major stations nationwide; new educational content, with the publication of a new issue of the investor’s guide dedicated to UCITS as well as a brochure covering the protective measures to adopt as an investor. The Authority will also launch the 2nd edition of the comic strip competition; and will post awareness messages on social networks.
