Moustapha Cissé Lo advocates for young people. In his press release, published yesterday Saturday, the former MP made a strong request to state authorities regarding the appointments. He advised them to no longer appoint men and women over 65 to positions of high responsibility.

“We are in the age of speed and it is urgent to count on healthy, well-trained, dynamic and experienced youth (between 30 and 40 years old) for the economic take-off of our dear Senegal. Young energy must be placed at the center of our policy to further propel Senegal towards emergence. It is then high time to get rid of the political grandpas, these people who want to eat from all the racks. To say, they have been accountable for the management of almost all the political regimes that have succeeded one another in Senegal,” he explained in the note used by Senego.

The former President of the ECOWAS Parliament believes that young people voted overwhelmingly in March 2024 for a Generational Alternation that must be given shape.

“We must, obviously, respect their choice. Youth is the future. It is the spearhead of any development worthy of the name. Let’s work harder and work together to ensure their concerns are properly addressed. For the early legislative elections on November 17, I invite all young people to be more vigilant. She is called to mobilize as one man, with courage and self-sacrifice, to vote for the lists which will include more young, correct, serious and dedicated candidates to the cause of our Republic,” he indicated.
