In Morocco, political parties, unions and members of civil society have decided to participate massively, this Sunday in Rabat, in “the national march as a sign of solidarity with the brotherly Palestinian and Lebanese peoples” in the face of the deadly violence of Israeli troops. , announced a member of the Moroccan Association for Human Rights (AMDH).
This march coincides with “the first anniversary of Operation Al Aqsa Flood, launched on October 7, 2023 by the Hamas movement” and which triggered the Middle East war, with the invasions of Gaza, the West Bank and Lebanon by the Israeli armed forces.

According to Casablanca newspapers, opposition parties, notably the Justice and Development Party (PJD), the Party of Progress and Socialism (PPS), the Federation of the Democratic Left, the Unified Socialist Party (PSU) have affirmed their participation to this march against “the silence of Arab and Western countries against Israeli aggression”. The Democratic Confederation of Labor (CDT), the National Labor Union in Morocco (UNTM), the Moroccan Labor Union (UMT) and the National Education Federation (FNE) have decided to follow the movement.
Furthermore, the leadership of the Al Adl Wal Ihsane (Justice and Charity) movement called on its supporters “to participate in large numbers” in this popular march which will begin from 10 a.m. on October 6, 2024, starting from the square Bab El Had towards the Parliament on Avenue Mohammed V, say the organizers.
