William Boswarva clearly did not want to take responsibility for this child. The baby was born after he had a one-night stand with a woman. After having done everything to ensure that the future mother had an abortion, even offering her money, he found himself with a request for alimony once the child was born.

The Liverpool man then found the solution: to prove that the child was not his. So he volunteered to do a paternity test, but sent a friend in his place. The man did have the identity papers of the real father, but, as we were in the Covid period, on August 3, 2012, he arrived at the center with a mask.

The deception did not work, however, and the police went to arrest William Boswarva, who then admitted to a sexual relationship with the child’s mother, but denied being the father. However, he refused a paternity test.

The 29-year-old man appeared in court and was jailed for 12 months last Tuesday, reports the BBC. He was convicted of conspiracy to commit fraud. The individual, already convicted of 11 other offenses, was on probation during this last trial. Having no income, he will not be able to pay a pension to the child’s mother, but will be held responsible as the biological father until his offspring turns 16.
