We can be for or against the ideas that Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois puts forward, but we cannot deny that he is an effective politician.
Since the time of the red squares, the member for Gouin has evolved. He understood the codes, he understood how politics works. He knows that it takes a serious structure for a political party to aspire to great honors.
However, the last election was not easy for Mr. Nadeau-Dubois; he admitted that he had questioned himself.

Crisis
Clearly, the last few days will cause the co-spokesperson for Québec solidaire to think again about his future. Shaken, Mr. Nadeau-Dubois was absent from the Salon bleu on Tuesday.
The departure of Émilise Lessard-Therrien places Québec solidaire in a crisis, even if the member for Gouin said the opposite at the start of the week.
The management of GND was defended by some of his colleagues, but on the other hand, MP Vincent Marissal said things were going to have to change.
However, Mr. Nadeau-Dubois cannot take all the blame for the departure of Émilise Lessard-Therrien. In a situation like that expressed by the former member for Rouyn, we must recognize that there is not just one person responsible.
As in a couple that separates, the responsibility is rarely solely on one of the two members of the duo.

So, Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois must ask himself what he should do with his political career. After the disappointing results in 2022 and now the departure of the co-spokeswoman, the GND leadership is weakened.
However, one might wonder if he is not wasting his time at Québec solidaire. Is he condemned to go around in circles with this party which truly believes that a political party is managed by two heads?
Mr. Nadeau-Dubois wants better than that. He should start looking to see if the neighbor’s lawn isn’t greener.
