Michel Barnier continues his consultations, 150 mobilizations expected in France

After having ruled out a priori censure of Michel Barnier, Jordan Bardella announced that he would judge the new Prime Minister “by his actions, not by his speeches”. The head of government is now, in his words, “under democratic surveillance”.

According to the far-right leader, a right-wing head of government is “a lesser evil” compared to the hypothesis of an appointment to Matignon of the NFP candidate Lucie Castets. “I am pleased that the RN has prevented the far left from coming to power,” he adds.
