Yet another twist in the mogul's sprawling affair. P.Diddy. Sean Combs, real name, accused of rape, sexual assault and sex trafficking, filed a defamation complaint against Courtney Burgess on Wednesday. The latter claims to have videos of a sexual nature, in which the American rapper and producer appears. Courtney Burgess, who presents himself on social networks as a manager of musical artists, has spoken several times in podcasts devoted to news items, claiming that he had been given videos showing sexual relations involving the rapper and various other stars, some of whom he said appeared drunk and underage.

In his complaint, Sean Combs claims that no such videos exist and accuses Courtney Burgess of having « fabricated wild allegations and sparked baseless speculation », reports The New York Times. « People who heard and believed the accusers' lies accused Combs, on social media that is frequented by hundreds of millions of Internet users every day, of being a “ monster ” debauched and a pedophile », still believe the producer's lawyers.

Videos offered to the media

Courtney Burgess, who does not know the rapper personally, claims to have received the videos through an intermediary. The images were allegedly filmed by Kim Porter, former partner of P. Diddy and mother of three of his children. According to the New York Times, « media outlets have received anonymous emails offering to negotiate deals to provide the purported footage, but none have published images and it remains unclear whether such videos exist ». He also claims to have received a manuscript, which he described as a draft of Kim Porter's memoir. He would have sold it in the form of a 59-page book on Amazon, before the relatives of Kim Porter, who died in 2018, legally ordered its removal from the site.

At the end of 2024, Courtney Burgess was questioned by the courts, explaining that he had thrown away the original USB keys containing the videos. However, his phone and email could also contain copies. His lawyer, Mitchell-Kidd, assures the American daily that his phone has been seized.
