The disappearance of his account came after the publication of a message from the singer that caused controversy. Vianney reacted to a video posted online Friday by Paris Match. The latter came from Dominique Pelicot’s mobile phone. The man is currently appearing in court for having organized the repeated rape of his wife. At the time of his arrest, he was filming under the skirts of customers in a supermarket. It is this sequence that was revealed by the weekly.

No tours for several years for Vianney: “I have experienced the most intense months of my entire life”

On X, Vianney therefore published a message in connection with this video. Before his account disappeared, we could read: “There is my song ‘Beau-papa’ (absurd contrast) that is playing in the store when he gets caught. I don’t know what to do with this information. Oh yes, I would like to take advantage of it to show my full support for Gisèle Pelicot, so courageous and so dignified. Infinite respect, Madam.“Not enough to cause controversy a priori. Except that in the eyes of some, the singer took advantage of the opportunity to advertise himself by quoting his hit. “Dude, do you realize that you’re doing your OKLM ad on a case like this?”commented one furious Internet user.

Vianney: “My heart is heavy because I had to say no again”

Was it this controversy that led to the suspension of Vianney’s X account? Or did he decide to put out the fire himself? It’s impossible to know, as the singer hasn’t spoken out since. Let’s remember that Vianney has been the victim of cyberbullying in the past. The facts date back to October 7 and the Hamas attack on Israel. He had made a post in which he paid tribute to the victims. The affair had taken on serious proportions, with the singer and his wife having received thousands of death and rape threats from his wife. He had then spoken of ““crazy violence”.

As our colleagues at CineTeleRevuethe singer’s other social networks are still active. Vianney has therefore not left the Web as a whole. He had not posted anything related to the ongoing trial on Facebook and Instagram.
