The famous group Coldplay returns with a new single, “All My Love”, a sweet romantic and melancholic ballad. The clip features 99-year-old “Mary Poppins” icon Dick Van Dyke.
In their Music video “All My Love”, filmed at Dick Van Dyke’s house, the legendary actor revisits his memories by leafing through photo albums. Known for his role as Bert, the one-man band in Mary Poppins in 1964, At 99 years old, Dick Van Dyke brings a nostalgic and timeless touch to the video.
This atmosphere goes perfectly with the reflection shared by Coldplay on love: “What is love? We’ve been asking ourselves that question for centuries! I don’t know. It’s probably the desire to worry about the well-being and life of the other person as much as you do it for yourself”
False alarm: Coldplay is not retiring!
During an interview, Chris Martin, the group’s leader, sowed doubt by declaring that this single would be “the last”. Enough to worry fans, before he clarified that it was simply the last extract from their album “Moon Music”.
“All My Love” is the third single from this album, after “feelslikeimfallinginlove” and “We Pray”. Although these tracks were well received by the public, the album did not achieve the usual success on the world charts, where Coldplay usually dominates.
Despite somewhat timid album sales this year, Coldplay confirms its status as a giant of the music scene. Their Music of the Spheres tour was a real triumph:
- 175 concerts
- 10 million spectators
- $1.14 billion in revenue
This tour is now the second highest-grossing in history, just behind Taylor Swift’s. Something to reassure fans: Coldplay is still far from bowing out!
