Taylor Barber, lead singer of Left To Suffer and Seven Hours After Violet, has apologized following accusations from fans that he failed to fulfill his commitments for paid singing lessons. In a public statement, Barber took responsibility for his actions and promised to rectify the situation.
Accusations from disappointed fans
Complaints emerged on Reddit, where several fans accused Taylor Barber of failing to honor singing lessons they had paid for. One user shared his experience, saying he waited two years for a course that charged $80. The publication led to a series of similar testimonies, some also mentioning services not provided, such as “guest spots”.

A public response and sincere apology
Taylor Barber admitted the facts in a statement released on December 4, 2024. He said: “Yes, I failed to keep my commitments to some singing lessons about three years ago. I take full responsibility for my actions and I am extremely sorry to anyone I may have upset.”
He added that he would refund money owed and honor classes for fans still interested, while asserting that these failures were not intentional but due to a busy schedule between touring and recording.
A promise of change
Barber also expressed his respect for the fans and his desire to rectify his mistakes. He concluded: “I will rectify my mistakes and make sure this doesn’t happen again. I love music more than anything and I deeply respect the people who create and express themselves through it.”
