Un projet personnel pour Tuomas Holopainen
Composé par Tuomas Holopainen, Yesterwynde is described as a journey through the landscapes of memories, dreams and nostalgia. According to Holopainen, this album is his most personal and complex work to date: “Yesterwynde is an exploration of time – both elusive and omnipresent. It’s the most personal and layered creation of my career. I am deeply grateful that it is receiving such a special world premiere with the Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra and a massive choir.”
Holopainen also emphasizes the importance of live performance: “In the studio you can tweak things endlessly, but a live performance is always unique.”
