The artist does not mince his words about one of the US rappers who had left their mark.
Between Gazo and US rappersit’s no longer necessarily crazy love. If the French rapper recently made headlines with a confuses involving Offsetthis story now seems to be settled. Their feat will be released on November 29 next as part of Gazo’s new album, entitled “Apocalypse”.
But during the promotion of this ambitious project, the rapper 30 ans spoke about another American artist, and the tone was much less benevolent.
Bobby Shmurda in the viewfinder
During an interview for CKOGazo returned to his collaborations with American rappers, and in particular to his meeting with Bobby Shmurda. His words were particularly incisive:
“I really like US rappers, but afterwards I am aware that some are no longer what they were (…) Even for me when I saw it, it was crazy. It was more, good crazy . It makes me happy to see him, but it is off (…) I was already in this mode, go ahead, it’s crazy.”
For Gazo, this feat with Bobby Shmurda obviously did not have any great artistic ambitions and was more interested in having fun.
Gazo’s statement echoes some frustration with collaborations that don’t always meet expectations. If the US rappers continue to be a source of inspiration for many artists, the interpreter of “PROBATION” does not hide the fact that he is sometimes disappointed by those he considers to have lost their shine:
“A feat for delirium, with a dead rapper.”
A shocking sentence that says a lot about his feelings.
