Members of One Direction gathered to say goodbye to Liam Payne, who tragically passed away on October 16 at the age of 31. The singer lost his life after falling from the third floor of a hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Following delays with post-mortem tests, Liam Payne’s body was returned to the UK in early November. This Wednesday, November 20, he was buried in a private ceremony at the church in Amersham, England, in the presence of his family and closest friends.

Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson were present to pay a final tribute to their former stage companion. The last three were seen together in front of the wreaths outside the church, symbolizing the unbreakable bond that united them.

Other celebrities also attended the service, including Girls Aloud’s Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts, who came to support their friend Cheryl Tweedy. The latter had a 7-year-old son, Bear, with Liam Payne, born from their relationship between 2016 and 2018. Liam’s current partner, Kate Cassidy, was also seen alongside Damian, Elizabeth Hurley’s son.

The service has brought together figures from the world of music and television, such as James Corden and Simon Cowell, who helped form One Direction during “The X Factor” in 2010.
