Liam Payne’s family is preparing to bury the star, who died last October when he fell from his bedroom balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The 31-year-old singer would be buried in his hometown of Wolverhampton this Wednesday, reports the British newspaper The Mirror, who shared snaps of the decorated church entrance. The ceremony is intended to be private, “fans are not welcome,” a source told the newspaper.

Former One Direction members Niall Horan, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson will be present at the farewell ceremony. It will be a first in nine years that they will be brought together. Other personalities are also expected, such as James Corden, Nicole Scherzinger, Rita Ora but also Cheryl Cole, the ex-girlfriend with their little boy, Bear.

The singer’s manager is not at all welcome. The man was also interviewed by the police as part of the investigation into the singer’s death. “The family hopes that everything goes peacefully. Roger and Liam were very close, but Roger was never really appreciated by those close to the singer.
