Became famous with his role as Quasimodo in the comedy Notre Dame de in 1997, Garou now lives in a house nestled in the forest by a lake in Canada. Garou invested in a sugar shack

In the countryside, Garou has a busy life since he gets up at dawn to go for a walk in nature but also to make his own maple syrup. From 6 a.m. in the morning I want to go to the forest. I can spend the day there and I'm happy there. Right now, I can't take it anymore because I know that on Sunday, I'm getting on my snowmobile, I'm going to go groom the trails, cut down the trees that have fallen and then see the work on the cabin, because I'm building a sugar shack, the place where we make maple syrup. So I'm going to become one maple farmer from spring when the sap will flow. I'm going to make my syrup” he revealed to RTBF in 2019.
