An agricultural rapper from Haute-Loire and a collective from Drôme denounce in a clip the land grabbing by large farms.

It is the fruit of the collaboration between an agricultural rapper from Haute-Loire, L’Atiligérien and a collective from Drôme, Le Collectif des Bouffons Anonyme.

For a little over three weeks, their clip We peasants, a rap song about the grabbing of agricultural land and the difficulties that some people may encounter in settling down, has been published on the Internet, report our colleagues from l’Éveil de la Haute- Loire.

This clip tells the difficulties of this young agricultural rapper confronted with this problem which concerns any region of France as highlighted by Ouest France, European or global land grabbing by large farms of which they do not have necessarily need, if not to make ever more profits. All in 7 minutes and in a humorous tone.

Contacted in September 2023 by the farmer from Haute-Loire, the Drôme collective explains that the choice of rap aims to attract an increasingly broad audience territorially in its participatory approaches. A collective that scratches “a system that always wants more”, without condemning anyone.
