Chef, entrepreneur, communicator, artist and producer, Sébastien Casanova, resident of La Réole (Gironde), stands out with his career. The music enthusiast has almost everything known. Originally from the Parisian suburbs, he first moved into the restaurant business and even became a chef in traditional cuisine.

A meeting will change the life of this resident of Gironde

But after 10 years, the Réolese wants to change. He then decided to launch into visual communication. During this period, he began working on computer-assisted music. “I was lulled in my adolescence by Deenastyle on Radio Nova where they played all the best French rappers of the time», explains Sébastien about this passion.

“I’m starting to understand that I can make a living from art”

He meets Claude Challe, artistic director of Bains Douches, a legendary Parisian club, but above all co-founder of Buddha Bar. He takes care of his website and a friendship arises from this collaboration. “I’m starting to understand that I can make a living from art. »

His career really took off when he left for Mauritius. Web consultant on behalf of the Minister of Tourism and the local tourist office, he took advantage of this move to launch his own clothing brand Zetapsy but also carry out musical production and events (DJ, organizer of private parties ).

Success was achieved with a collaboration with the show Bonto Clip (the equivalent of the Top 50 in Mauritius). Sébastien meets Richard Hein, owner of the Kapricorn studio, the largest music studio in the Indian Ocean, which will allow him to make several collaborations with artists from the island.

Having returned to for family reasons, his career will not suffer.

“PLK in 2017, I admit, I don’t know who knows”

Recognized for his work, he was contacted in 2017 by the rapper PLK who took sounds from him for the instrumental of his song “Casino”. “PLK in 2017, I admit, I don’t know who knows (laughs)” It’s a great musical and financial success.

Rapper Maes has a crush on his work

The first in a long series. The resident of Gironde collaborates with several great French rappers. Last year, he even produced the logo for Maes' Omerta album.

The artist is won over by Sébastien's talents, so much so that he decides to use this logo to launch a clothing brand and collaborate with Venom MMA. He also introduced him to personalities like Kamel Guenfoud (Kameltatouage), who played in Nicky Larson by Philippe Lachaud.

A real pleasure for the man who “wants to grow old but live with the times”.

With this in mind, he keeps a watchful eye on emerging artists, including the rapper H3v3N (Heven). “I have been a producer twice in my life for Mauritian artists, I said to myself never again. But he really is a real pro. » With a new success at stake? The future will tell us…
