(New York) Singer Beyoncé will be the big favorite at the next Grammy Awards ceremony, on February 2, 2025, in Los Angeles, with nominations in 11 categories for her album Cowboy Carterthe Recording Academy announced Friday.

Quebecer Kaytranada is cited three times. His most recent album Endless is among the finalists in the electro album of the year category. One of his pieces, Witchymade with Childish Gambino, is among the best electro dance recordings. Finally, the resumption of KaytranadaAlter Egoby rapper Doechii and JT, is in the running in the best remix category.

The name of Yanick Nézet-Séguin is in the list of nominees three times. Two of the works he directed (Catán – Florence In The Amazon and Puts – The Hours) are competing in the best opera recording category. His work with the London Symphony Orchestra on the film music Maestro is selected in the category of best soundtracks for visual media.

Besides Cowboy Carterworks by Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Charli XCX, Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, André 3000 and Jacob Collier will compete for the title of album of the year

In addition to Beyoncé, Post Malone also received his first nominations in the country categories this year, after releasing his first album in the genre, F-1 Trillionin August. This one is up for country album and I Had Some Helpher collaboration with Morgan Wallen, is nominated for Country Song and Country Duo/Group Performance.

Malone is located just behind Beyoncé, with seven nominations, tied with Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar and Charli XCX, who earned her first nominations as a solo artist.

The 2025 Grammy Awards Gala will air February 2 live on CBS from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
