Venom Inc. ready to welcome Jeff Dunn in case of return

Despite the departure of Jeff “Mantas” Dunn from Venom Inc, bassist and singer Tony “Demolition Man” Dolan says the door remains open for a possible return of the historic guitarist.

A departure motivated by health and personal reasons

In a recent interview with LaughingmonkeymusicTony Dolan spoke about the departure of Jeff Dunn, announcing that the latter had decided to leave Venom Inc for health reasons and personal problems. Dunn, who recently suffered another heart attack (last May), had already gone through a series of medical and personal ordeals, including his wife’s battle with a serious illness.

“Jeff has had an extremely difficult time over the last few years,” Dolan explained. “After his first heart attack, he worked hard to get back on track, but a second attack was a real blow. He told me he wanted to live at his own pace, at home, and I completely understand. We all have limits, and health should always come first.”

A door always open for a brother in arms

Despite this separation, Tony Dolan insists that Jeff Dunn remains a fundamental pillar of Venom Inc and that a possible return is not ruled out. “Jeff is my brother. We’ve been through so much together, and the door will always be open for him if he decides to come back. I don’t want to push him or put pressure on him. He needs to take the time he needs to recover.”

Dolan also pointed out that although Dunn is no longer active within Venom Inc, he continues to compose and produce in his studio, which he considers a form of therapy.
