Their former partners in One Direction succumbed to his injuries after falling from a balcony in Buenos Aires (Argentina) on Wednesday.

For his part, Louis Tomlinson mourns the disappearance of “my guy, one of my best friends, my brother“. On Instagram, he claims that Liam Payne was “an incredible composer with a great sense of melody” and reveals that the two men were talking “often returning to the studio together to try to recreate the chemistry we had built the band on.”

Zayn Malik, who left One Direction in 2015, a year before their separation, also spoke out on Instagram. “I lost a brother when you left us and I can’t explain to you what I would give to hug you just one last time and say goodbye properly and tell you that I loved and respected you“, he wrote. “I will cherish all the memories I have of you in my heart forever.”
Niall Horan is the only one who has not yet communicated individually. He is undoubtedly the last to have seen Liam Payne since the latter came to attend his concert in Buenos Aires at the beginning of October, before staying in the hotel where he died. According to doctors, the singer died from his injuries, suffering from internal and external bleeding.
