The group’s name, NEXZ, is an abbreviation of ‘Next Z(G)eneration’, and was personally coined by JYP’s chief producer and ‘Nizi Project’ judge Park Jin-young. It represents their ambition to lead the next era with the music and performances of members of Generation Z.
NEXZ’s debut song, ‘Ride the Vibe’, stands out for its diverse and experimental sound variations within a sensual atmosphere. The song invites listeners to join in on this vibe, capturing the excitement, and emotion that comes with a debut. The group aims to captivate music fans with their genre of ‘easy experimental’, a fusion of hip-hop beats and electronic elements.
Tomoya, Yuu, Haru, Soken, Seita, Huey and Yuki plan to showcase their unique musical colors as they freely navigate the rhythm. Huey explained, “In preparing for our debut and the song title, we discussed highlighting our style and color unique. »
