After the excitement of the 2025 4-day pass going on sale, from the end of Hellfest 2024, hardcore fans of the Loire-Atlantique metal festival are only waiting for one thing, the programming, because yes, the 55,000 passes were sold out in less than 25 minutes, even though no artist had been announced.
Trembling on the networks (YouTube, Instagram, X…), the festival published a video which seems to be the visual identity of the 18e Hellfest, which will take place from June 19 to 22, 2025. The H stylized into a new slime organic. In a flesh red that slowly tears and then fills the logo again, the ad questions but does not leave you indifferent. “The designs of 2025 are very dirty”, we read on Instagram but accompanied by an emoticon with hearts in the eyes or even this touch of humor: “It looks like flesh… so is it to announce Cher? » .
Out of bounds
A slogan accompanies this visual identity “ Out of bounds(1) “. Does this theme announce an even more extreme program? Concerts outside the limits of the historic site of Clisson? No announcements. But what questions followers even more is the famous line-up, the programming. Would this artistic direction be a clue? : “Can’t wait for the line-up…/ I can’t wait for the programming…” Slipknot? Marilyn Manson? Sepultura? Hypotheses are rife. Some people try a (too) polite LinkinPark. But one suggestion, which seems to respond to the proposed design, comes up many times: Slayer. However, the festival welcomed the group for its farewell tour in 2019. Only the Hellfest programmers have the power to address these questions.
