The bastide town of Sauveterre-de-Guyenne (Gironde) is preparing to vibrate to the rhythm of extreme metal for the fifth year in a row. The “Seisach’Metal Night(s)”, now essential in the musical landscape of the South-West, returns with a 2024 edition which promises to be even more intense and diversified.
Big news this year: the event will expand over two daysfrom Friday October 18 at 6 p.m. to Sunday October 20, 2024 at 1:30 a.m., in the Simone-Veil room.
From Brittany and Charente
Sébastien, aka Seisachtheion, founder and co-organizer with Musiques en Bastide, sees his dream take shape. His project to “create a landmark in the South-West for fans of extreme metal” becomes an unavoidable reality year after year.
Metalheads crave concerts, and they don’t hesitate to travel a lot.
The growing success of the event is confirmed.
Sébastien explains: “Metalheads are hungry for concerts, and they don’t hesitate to travel a lot. Last year, a good third of festival-goers came from far away, Brittany, Basque Countryetc. Already for this edition, reservations have been recorded from Brittany and Charente.”

“Seisachtheion” thanks the town hall and the cdc for their logistical support: “They are fully behind us, and without them, the project would not have been possible”.
For this history and geography professor, the event takes on its full meaning:
“Creating a meeting point for all metalheads rooted in the region makes sense. There is an inversion of the flow which is very interesting and which challenges me as a history-geography teacher: we will see people from everywhere traveling to listen to metal in rural areas! »
The Seisach’Metal Night(s) has now established itself as a major cultural event, combining extreme music and local dynamism, to the delight of metal lovers and the curious.
