In season 8 of Married at first sight, Ludivine found the right fit in Raphaël. 77% compatible according to experts, the two singles agreed to say “Yes” for better and for worse in Gibraltar. Love at first sight was immediate for the newlyweds who quickly found things in common despite a lot of reluctance. Before leaving for their honeymoon in Malta, the couple woke up in a villa in Malaga to share a first moment in complete privacy. In the episode broadcast this Monday, May 6 on M6, viewers discovered Raphaël’s first concerns about his marriage and the beautiful declaration which moved Ludivine to tears but they did not see everything. On her Instagram account, Ludivine revealed that they almost canceled their honeymoon at the last minute.

The day after their wedding, Ludivine and Raphaël were finally able to get to know each other away from the eyes of their loved ones. “We went to bed at 5:30 a.m. for a start at 8:30 a.m.”told Ludivine of her first awakening in the arms of her husband. “It’s not broadcast but after waking up, Raph enjoyed the pool while I watched him from the deckchair. Then we had a breakfast of kings (where the comic scene previously mentioned for the reveal of the destination happened) then we had a duo massage at the top”she then revealed on the program of their day which was not revealed in the images broadcast this evening on M6.

Ludivine then revealed that they might never have landed in Malta for their honeymoon. “Then around 4 p.m., we took a van for 1 hour to go to a hotel near Malaga airport to take off the next morning”she began before explaining that they avoided a tragedy: “Little anecdote, Raphaël had forgotten his passport at the villa in the pocket of his suit which was about to leave for Paris. We almost stayed in Spain.” Luckily, the newlyweds were able to jet off for a romantic getaway to Malta.
