The Compton rapper opened fire with “Euphoria.” Drizzy didn’t have time to respond that he was taking another scud with “6:16 in LA”. Finally, he released “Family Matters” before being countered by “Not Like Us”. We haven’t even had time to count the points as the Canadian attacks again with “The Heart Part 6”! A weekend anything but quiet in the US rap game…
This is Drake’s second diss track of the weekend while K-Dot released three tracks. The 6God shared his song on YouTube and he stunned the world with a message on X (formerly Twitter).
“The Heart Part 6 is out now… And we know you’re going to waste § minutes. So, instead of posting my address, you have a lot to talk about…”
“The Heart Part 6” is a sort of response to Kendrick Lamar’s long-running “The Heart” series, so “Part 5”, the most recent, was released in 2022.
On the track, produced by Boi-1da and Coleman, the Toronto MC continues to take jabs at K-Dot. In the opening verse, Drake admits that he deliberately misled Kendrick Lamar by providing false information about his life via a “mole”.
“We plotted for a week and we gave you the information/An 11 year old girl, I bet he takes her,” he raps, referencing Kendrick’s lyrics on “Meet the Grahams,” on which he claimed Drake had a hidden daughter.
Elsewhere, Drake addresses Kendrick’s fiancée, Whitney Alford, and his alleged infidelity. The Canadian MC accuses him of cheating on K-Dot with Dave Free, Kendrick’s partner and friend in the pgLang company.
In this title, he (obviously) also denies being a pedophile.
Kendrick Lamar is so hot, it’s hard to imagine that this clash will end there…
