It’s the cultural event of the weekend! This Friday evening, many people went to the cinemas to discover “Kaizen”, the documentary event by Inoxtag to retrace his ascent of Everest, from the long preparations for a year to his eventful journey. While he denounces the risks caused by mass tourism around mountaineering, the YouTuber fascinates the crowds. On Friday evening, 300,000 French spectators discovered a preview of the film in cinemas all over . A huge score to which are added 40,000 additional admissions recorded abroad, from Switzerland to Canada via Morocco, Spain and Senegal. An exceptional screening before the full release of the film “Kaizen” on the YouTube channel this Saturday at 2:30 p.m.

Inoxtag stronger than Ademo and NOS

And the numbers are huge! With “Kaizen”, Inoxtag has simply signed the best historical start for a video on YouTube in France. Thus, 13 million views were recorded in 24 hours, and the counter climbs to 17 million at the time of writing. To which are added 1.5 million “likes” under the video. Thus, the star YouTuber dethrones the previous record held by… a music video. Which one? That of “Au DD”, the hit that marked the return of PNL five years ago for their album “Deux frères”. Posted online on March 22, 2019 after an interminable teaser, the video in which we see the two rappers on the Eiffel Tower had generated 7.5 million views in 24 hours, thus entering history. But it is Inoxtag’s film that is taking the lead today!

And it’s not over yet! Because the documentary event “Kaizen”, produced by IDZ Prod (Webedia Group), will be broadcast on Tuesday, October 8 on TF1 at 11:30 p.m., in order to introduce the video to a greater number of French people. It will first be available for streaming on TF1+ from Saturday, September 28. With a new record of views to boot?
