She demands 440,000 euros from Nekfeu
At 34 years old, Ken Samaras is being sued by the woman who managed Booba and Orelsan, and who is claiming no less than 440,000 euros from him, according to the person informed, for commissions on his first solo album, “Feu” which enjoyed great musical success , almost 10 years ago, and which was certified diamond with more than 500,000 copies sold.
The complaint was filed in 2019 before the Paris judicial court. For his part, Nekfeu and his company Seine Zoo ensure that no contract has been signed with Anne Cibron. To our colleagues, the defense mentions “ service provision missions for the executive production of the album“, without more, which are not worth more than 10,000 euros. Not enough for Anne Cirbon, who accuses Nekfeu of having “ sought to break away from its commitments in an unjustified and unfair manner […] after most of the work (the recording and launch of the album) had been successfully carried out and at the time when a very important and very lucrative tour of shows was being negotiated“.
No contract but a commitment
Without a contract, Anne Cibron assures that she has in her possession a message from Nekfeu telling her: “ It’s cool if we work together“, but Nekfeu’s lawyer, Maître Jean-Marie Guillou, assures in response “that a management contract cannot be invented and must be written“.
Not yet satisfied with a court decision which awarded her in March 2022, 18,000 euros as well as 4,000 euros in legal costs, Anne Cibron appealed.
