Former Megadeth guitarist Kiko Loureiro is giving fans the chance to own a piece of Metal history as he prepares to sell guitars, amps and personal items on Reverb. From now until next Wednesday, fans can preview the gear available in Loureiro’s official Reverb store.

Loureiro, known for his work with Megadeth and Angra, as well as his solo activities, is parting ways with stage-used equipment and personal items such as headbands and t-shirts. Highlights include a Gibson Les Paul Modern used on Megadeth’s 2022 tour, acoustic guitars used around the world, and other instruments and accessories.

In November, Loureiro extended his absence from Megadeth’s touring activities, citing personal reasons. Frontman Dave Mustaine expressed his support for Loureiro, thanking him for his contribution over the past nine years.

Megadeth’s first concert with Loureiro’s replacement, Teemu Mäntysaari, took place in September 2023. Mäntysaari, originally from Finland, joined Wintersun in 2004 and Smackbound in 2015.

Loureiro officially joined Megadeth in April 2015, following the departure of Chris Broderick.
