Edge of Tomorrow (2014)
For fans of action films with Tom Cruise, Edge of Tomorrow is to be seen before it disappears. This science fiction film is loosely inspired by the light novel All You Need is Kill by Hiroshi Sakurazaka and takes place in a future where an alien race has invaded Europe. Major William Cage (Cruise), with no combat experience, finds himself in the thick of the action, forced to fight this alien race. Stuck in a time loop, he relives the battle over and over again.
Also starring Emily Blunt, Bill Paxton and Brendan Gleeson, Edge of Tomorrow was well received, particularly for its performances and action sequences. While not one of Cruise’s big franchises, this film is worth watching if you haven’t yet discovered it.

Green Room (2016)
Although it suffered a commercial failure, many consider Green Room as one of the best films of 2016, especially in the horror genre. This thriller stars the late Anton Yelchin alongside Imogen Poots, Alia Shawkat, Joe Cole and Callum Turner, as a punk band who discover the body of a young girl after playing in a skinhead bar neo-Nazi. Empire Records (1995)
Considered a cult classic, Empire Records was not successful upon release, but has since gained a devoted fan base. It’s a comedy-drama about a day in the life of a group of record store employees. With a cast including Anthony LaPaglia, Debi Mazar, Rory Cochrane, Renée Zellweger and Liv Tyler, the plot follows the protagonists’ efforts to prevent their store from being sold to a major chain.
-The concept of Empire Records may seem outdated in our era where digital stores predominate, but the film resonates the spirit of the 1990s while offering a touching vision of a simpler era in music distribution. As expected, it also benefits from a remarkable soundtrack.
