The Bodin’s, a duo that has been a hit for 30 years, is back in the cinema. This time, they are heading to Morocco. Wednesday January 22 was the first preview at their home in Châtellerault in Vienne.
In Châtellerault (Vienna), the Bodin’s are at home; they started in the region. They returned on Wednesday January 22 for the preview of their next film, still with Maria, the surly grandmother, and Christian, her stupid son. This time, they will be in Morocco. They have already existed for 30 years. Without makeup, it is difficult to recognize these actors who have become spokespersons for the rural world.
In the theater or at the cinema, the duo met with success, with 2 million admissions for the previous film. “We are still assured that it will be in our top 5 entries”says Marie Desandré, operator of the Le Loft cinema. The first spectators are under the spell. “There is always a bottom”explains a man. “There is poetry despite everything”laughs a woman. Before the film’s release in two months, around a hundred previews are planned throughout France.
