2024 was another exceptional year for the Arvor arthouse cinema with 263,000 admissions. Its director, Eric Gouzannet, explains this success by “different programming”. On display: art-house films, retrospective screenings, local productions and animated films for children (from 3 years old) and adults.

The second part of the Dune saga occupies first place, far ahead of the two French productions: Émilia Pérez, awarded at the Cannes festival and The Count of Monte Cristo, the eponymous adaptation of the famous novel by Alexandre Dumas. In total: the first ten films represent 62,306 admissions, or 23% of tickets sold by cinemas in 2024.
