The Montreal City Police Service (SPVM) is investigating following shots that rang out around midnight, during the night from Sunday to Monday, in a residential street in Dollard-des-Ormeaux. The suspect is on the run.
Traces of projectiles were spotted on a residence on rue Louis-Riel, near rue Iberville, in the town of Dollard-des-Ormeaux. THE SPVMwho went to the scene after receiving 911 calls, found shell casings at the scene. Projectile impacts were visible on the house.
The incident did not cause any casualties.

An investigation is underway, witnesses will be questioned during the day and the images captured by surveillance cameras will be analyzed, according to information transmitted by the SPVM.
Last December, a vehicle was set on fire in the same street, near this house. However, no link between the two incidents has been established so far, says the SPVM.
