Broadcast since 2009 on France 5, the show C à vous is one of the channel’s flagship programs. Presented by Anne-Élisabeth Lemoine who succeeded Alessandra Sublet and Anne-Sophie Lapix, the program takes place in a friendly atmosphere around a table where the guests – political figures, artists, writers or experts – share debates and anecdotes while enjoying a meal prepared live by a chef. Current events are treated seriously but without heaviness, and lighter moments are also devoted to culture and entertainment, a mix that appeals to a wide audience.

Why don’t guests bring gifts anymore?
With her fine team, Anne-Elisabeth Lemoine therefore returns to current events and has established some traditions with her guests, including one which is no longer respected. In fact, usually the people invited brought with them a gift, something they no longer do. For what ? Our colleagues from Télé-Loisirs questioned the production in order to get an answer. It would be “simply for logistical reasons”. “It’s easier to manage for our team, as well as for the guests, who often forgot to bring some back”confided one of the members of the show.
No wine for the guests?
