Marvel is aiming for a 2026 release ofAvengers : Doomsday. This huge event which sees the return of MCU hype that was lost for a long time is not, however, the only one that fans are waiting for. The next solo film Spider-Man which will come out after the crossover is just as anticipated as this one. As proof, Spider-Man 4 no shortage of rumorsparticularly on its scenario. DanielRPK recently revealed to us that he was not in the writing phase, but in the rewriting phase. This reshuffle caused the sidelining of 2 villains expected by fans.
The Spider-Man 4 storyline in detail
“I only know one thing, that I know nothing” said Socrates, except that in the case of Spider-Man 4 there is no shortage of information. The next film with Peter Parker will probably also feature its share of characters. In particular, there was talk of the Punisher, Ghost Rider and especially Daredevil, a character who has decided to settle in the MCU, Charlie Cox having recently trained for Avengers : Doomsday. Concerning the villain, everything suggests that it will be a symbiote. To be seen, however, whether Venom will indeed make his return or not.
All these rumors surrounding the characters and the storyline are causing mixed feelings among fans. If they are happy to see their favorite heroes and villains again, this goes against the wishes expressed at the end of Spider-Man : No Way Home with a spider-man returning to his humbler origins. Internet users want to find “the friendly neighborhood spider”unfortunately the deletion of the basic scenario of 2 villains already seen in the saga indicates that we will not find it immediately.
Two bad guys Spider-Man : Homecoming deleted from the scenario
Daniel Richtman, aka DanielRPK, is a valuable informant regarding the MCU. So when he makes an announcement, fans listen to him. In this specific case, they would have preferred never to hear it. Indeed, the insider revealed in a Patreon post that the scenario of Spider-Man 4 contained the Scorpion and Shocker before it was rewritten.
These are 2 villains visible in Spider-Man Homecoming. Shocker was Vulture’s sidekick while Scorpio was announced in the post-credits scene. These are 2 characters who are waiting for their moment to shine and unfortunately will still have to wait. Still, it shows that Marvel had considered following the fans’ advice with a down-to-earth Spider-Man except that plans changed along the way. Tom Holland will therefore never experience an “earthly” intrigue like Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfieldthe latter having also spoken of his possible return in this fourth part.
