“For me, it’s a great love letter to Steven Spielberg and his previous films. There are moments in this movie that remind me a lot of Jaws. Like little big hits of all those aspects of his Movies that I loved as a kid.
That type of triangle between three different characters that overlap, brings a lot of fun between them that caught my attention. It’s less of a love triangle and more of a competition to see who is the alpha of the group.“.
Edwards also highlights that he has prioritized practical effects as much as possible to get closer to the style of Jurassic Park. Although the original film pioneered the use of CGI in many of its scenes, traditional effects predominated.
