You know Junior Cinema ? This is the largest film festival for young French audiences ! And for its 35th edition, at the end of January/beginning of February, it will take place in a sixty rooms and cultural spaces in the Ile-de-France region!
Ciné Junior, the film festival for young audiences
Young audiences (children from 2 years old and teenagers) have their own film festival! Created in 1991 to offer a showcase and a space for expression to this part of the 7ème art, Junior Cinema attracts more than 50,000 spectatorsbudding and adults, who came to enjoy a rich programming of a hundred or so films! Distributed in 7 departments of Île-de-France and around forty cities, these “near you” screenings also aim to facilitate access to the cinema for young people and families!
A 35th edition placed under the sign of emotions
For this new edition, let your emotions express themselves! Fear, joy, anger, sadness or laughter… the festival will invite the public to share them in the dark rooms in front of the short or feature films selected this year! As with the adults, Ciné Junior also offers films in competition !
Feature films, animated films, short film program (from 2 years old)children will have something for all tastes… and all their emotions! Of the cult films as Merlin the Enchanter or The Dictator will rub shoulders with more recent creations such as Marcel the Shell. There will also beJapanese animation with Mary and the Witch’s Flower et Shortcine-concert creations, cine-shadows and workshops!
The list of participating cinemas and venues is long. In Paris, go to Ursuline Studioau Chaplin Denfert, Chaplin Saint Lambert and at Cinema Les 7 Batignolles ! Don’t forget, Ciné Junior also comes to Pantin, Montreuil, Bagnolet, Villejuif, Maisons-Alfort (look, there must be a screening near you!)
