The actor paid a tribute as nostalgic as it was striking during the premiere ofA complete strangerbiopic on the folk icon scheduled for 2025, in which he plays the main role.

Timothée Chalamet made a remarkable entrance at the New York premiere of the biopic A complete strangerin which he plays the main role. Retracing the story of the famous folk-rock singer Bob Dylan, the actor said goodbye to his brown curls for a straightened hairstyle revealing blond locks under a blue cap. To accompany this new style, his face sported a carefully trimmed mustache. Timothée Chalamet was also dressed in a gray checkered scarf and a black leather jacket. A metamorphosis which turns out to be a cosplay referring to Bob Dylan's appearance in 2003, during the screening of his film Masked & Anonymous at the Sundance Film Festival. Sharp.

The rise of a folk icon

In A complete strangerdirector James Mangold traces the rise of this folk icon in New York in the 1960s. Timothée Chalamet thus embodies the singer in his youth, the very one who left his mark on the history of music with his talent and his spirit of rebellion. His interpreter (recently seen in the saga Dune by Denis Villeneuve, alongside Zendaya) couldn't go to the premiere in New York without a nod to the one he plays on screen. “This cosplay is hilarious”; “He is truly incredible and so nostalgic,” Internet users commented on his transformation. Scheduled for January 2025, this film is one of the most anticipated of the coming year.
