The deduction seemed logical insofar as the actorOppenheimer played the main role in the first part of the apocalyptic saga, 28 days later, released in 2002, and that the film’s producers recently hinted that he would be back in the sequel.
However, Angus Neill, a British art dealer who also works as a model, confirmed to the newspaper on Wednesday The Guardian that it was rather him who played this character. He added that director Danny Boyle approached him saying he had had him in mind from the start for the role.
