the saga Fast & Furious will soon cross the finish lineand it was time. Not that we're in a hurry to find Vin Diesel's family, but rather in a hurry to get it over with. The saga launched on the asphalt in 2001 with Vin Diesel and Paul Walker has come a long way (too much), with the DVD player robbers being become the Avengers of their universe, their passage through space and chain resurrections as proof.
Fast & Furious 11or Fast X part 2will therefore be the last part of the main sagasuch a Endgame on the rims after a Infinity War at a standstill. Originally, Justin Lin wanted to shoot the two films back to back, but plans have changed quite a bit since then. In fact, the director himself has changed, since Louis Leterrier took over on Fast X and will also work on the next film, including the release date has already been pushed back twice.
Last May, Leterrier mentioned a start of filming in early 2025 while just a few days ago, Jordanna Brewster explained that she had no idea about the production schedule. This affair therefore seems to have been carried out well, since filming has actually already startedas revealed by Vin Diesel.

The photo itself doesn't tell us much, except that some cars will drive on real roads (!). But since some go into space or hurtle down dams, the precision was perhaps useful.
In addition to Vin Diesel and Jordanna Brewster (we hope someone tipped her off), most of the cast will be back : Michelle Rodriguez (Letty), Tyrese Gibson (Roman), Nathalie Emmanuel (Ramsey), Sung Kang (Han), Ludacris (Tej), Jason Statham (Deckard Shaw).
Dwayne Johnson alias Hobbs will also make his big return to the franchise after his falling out with Vin Diesel. Finally, Jason Momoa's villain Dante Reyes will also be back after his thunderous introduction in Fast X.
Fast & Furious 11 is expected in theaters for summer 2026.
