So much so that the return to another form of reality weighs more than expected for Aurélien Lardy. The skier from Chamonix confides that a short ski trip in Patagonia, just after the Alasak expedition, was not easy: “ I was on Mars. I haven’t seen a psychologist so I don’t know if you can call it depression, but I had a lot of trouble getting over it. But hey, my friends kicked my ass, we got into a fight, I cried and off we went again. But the return was something dark… I especially wanted to immerse myself in this world again with my friends, in Alaska. »

The film is there for that and it is a great success. We know how a successful experience does not necessarily imply a good film, and vice versa. The winning pair is rarely reunited. In this case, Wild days would have deserved a grand prize at the festival…

With their heads full of windy horizons, gaping glaciers, curious bears and a group of really endearing friends, it’s a safe bet that the spectators themselves will have difficulty returning to their daily lives. But they now have a solid guide to freeing themselves from it. The best in a long time anyway.
