The film “Louise Violet” will be the subject of a film debate on Wednesday November 6 at 8 p.m. at the Capitelle in Monistrol-sur-Loire, in the presence of Marie-Christine Duchalet and Pierre Gadrey, casting managers, and Ernest Mourier , main role of children.
The film was shot in 2023 in Saint-André-de-Chalencon, Tiranges and Saint-Pierre-du-Champ. Some scenes were also filmed in Puy-de-Dôme near Compains. Several hundred extras and dozens of technicians were recruited.
Filming took place over two periods: in February/March 2023, then in May/June 2023, for a total duration of 36 days. Most of the filming took place in Haute-Loire.
The filming mobilized 42 technicians from the region, notably in the staging teams (assistant directors), casting and extras, production, management, costumes, and decoration.
More than twenty child and adult roles were recruited in Haute-Loire, including the first child role, Ernest Mourier, alias Jules. There are also more than 350 extras from Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes.
