Rare are the opportunities to hear Audrey Tautou speak about her career and her creative choices. In a recent interview, the actress revealed the reasons for her withdrawal from film sets in favor of new creative projects.
Her last appearance on the big screen was in 2019, when she played Mary in John Turturro’s comedy “The Jesus Rolls.” Since then, nothing. Audrey Tautou has disappeared from film sets, previews, red carpets. In January 2024, the actress returned to the stage after more than fourteen years away from the theaters.
