An official press release has just revealed more about a highly anticipated project, but about which we still didn’t know much. A fantasy in the battle will recount the lives and experiences of several members of the anti-terrorist section of the Spanish Guardia Civil in the historical, political and social context of the 1990s and 2000s.

“The story of a woman and an undercover Guardia Civil agent” already ready to captivate Netflix subscribers

The story will focus on the life of Amaia, a young woman in the Civil Guard who spends more than a decade working as an undercover agent within the famous Basque terrorist organization ETA. His mission is to locate the group’s hiding places in the south of France.

The director and screenwriter of the film, Agustín Díaz Yanes, returned to the genesis of this new adventure in an interview with Netflix. “About five years ago, Belén Atienza [productrice de télévision espagnole] asked me to write a story about ETA. A few months later, I gave him a first version of a script that told the story of a woman and an undercover agent of the Guardia Civil”he began.
