Bocchi the Rock! will arrive in our cinemas in October!, September 17, 2024

Lately, Crunchyroll announced the upcoming release in our cinemas of the two compilation films of the animated series Bocchi the Rock!. Good news since the information regarding the broadcast of the feature films is becoming clearer, and will take place next month across !

Released in Japan in June and August, the films Bocchi the Rock! Re: And Bocchi the Rock! Re: Re: will be brought together in a single 165-minute feature film entitled Bocchi the Rock! Recap Part 1 & 2. Following the plot of the first season, this long film will include new sequences such as the song Tsukinami and Kagayake (Shine Like the Moon) specially created for the film’s opening and which is the subject of a new animation, as well as a new end credits song entitled Ima, Boku, Underground Kara (Now I’m going to the Underground) by Kessoku Band.

The film will be broadcast on a single day: October 15. The screenings will take place in the original version with French subtitles. Do not hesitate to contact the cinema closest to you to find out if it will be showing the film.

Originally a 4-koma manga by Aki Hamazi, ongoing since 2018 and published by Meian, Bocchi the Rock! has spawned an anime adaptation in fall 2022. The 12-episode series was produced by CloverWorks studio, under the direction of Keiichirô Saitô. It remains available here on Crunchyroll.

Synopsis – Bocchi the Rock! :

Hitori “Bocchi-chan” (The Lonely Little One) Goto is an introverted high school girl who lives for her guitar. Every day, she does nothing but strum her instrument, all alone at home. However, her life changes when she meets Nijika Ijichi one day who is looking for a guitarist for her band called “Kessoku Band”.
