For the 4th year, the town of Guérande (Loire-Atlantique) is launching its participatory budget.

With a budget of €100,000

From January 6 to March 2, 2025, residents are invited to imagine and propose projects aimed at improving their daily lives and living environment.

This new edition is based on the same ambition: to allow residents to take ownership of their city and contribute to its transformation.

A budget of €100,000 will make it possible to carry out the selected projects.

How does it work?

All residents from the age of 11 but also users of structures operating on the municipal territory (colleges, high schools, associations or collectives) can propose a project of general interest: new collective facilities, innovative and virtuous project for the environment, original and creative idea, supportive and/or cultural… All themes are accepted. The projects will then be submitted to the vote of the Guérandais, without age conditions.

Submission of files until March 2, 2025

The file submission phase will take place from January 6 to March 2, 2025. To submit a file, simply connect to the participatory democracy platform “Mon grain de sel” (Mon Grain de Sel – Guérande (guerande.bzh) and complete the application online For those who wish to apply using a paper document, it is possible to print it on the “Mon grain de sel” platform or on the City website or retrieve it directly in person. town hall The files should be submitted to the attention of the local democracy department of the City of Guérande, 7 place du Marché au bois.

The selection from March 3 to April 27, 2025

The admissibility and selection phase will last from March 3 to April 27, 2025.

During this period, the proposals will be analyzed by the services of the City of Guérande in order to study their feasibility. A selection committee will then be responsible for verifying that the projects submitted meet the criteria of the system and fall within the City's field of competence.

We vote from April 28 to June 13, 2025

From April 28 to June 13, 2025, Guérandais will be able to vote for their favorite projects (within the limit of its virtual envelope of €100,000) via the “Mon grain de sel” platform or during the four voting stands on market days or directly to the Town Hall. The winners of this 4th edition will be announced on Wednesday June 18.

The house of Careil winner of 2024

In 2024, no less than 1,082 votes have been recorded. Among the six final projects presented to the Guérandais, one was selected: the expansion of the Careil house.

Latest achievement: the work “Soleil de Paix”, the winning project of the first edition, now visible opposite the Porte Bizienne or the redevelopment of the La Madeleine football cage and the dog park in Kerbiniou.
