Marc Márquez swings on Gigi Dall'Igna with some great words

Marc Márquez swings on Gigi Dall'Igna. The new Ducati factory rider is preparing for the 2025 season, he who is brimming with ambition and who wants to play for the title against Francesco Bagnaia and Jorge Martín. And while the eight-time world champion will now have an ultra-competitive bike, he took the floor to talk about his acclimatization within his new team. He notably mentioned his boss Gigi Dall'Igna, with very strong words about the Italian. He assured that the latter was more than an engineer, namely a real leader.

Marquez praises Dall'Igna

In comments reported by Motorsport.com, the Spaniard spoke about his new boss and said: “Is Gigi Dall'Igna the best engineer? For me, Gigi Dall'Igna is the best leader. There are many good engineers, and there are certainly better and worse ones. But ultimately, you have to be a leader. It's not just an engineer creating a part, you have to manage a group of people. You can have a big budget, a lot of things, big installations, in the end it is humans who control the information and development. This human aspect must be controlled by someone, by a leader. In this case, the leader is Gigi and it works really well. If he says right, everyone goes to the right and does not doubt. That's how it is.” Suffice to say that his words will please Dall'Igna, who will give everything to allow Márquez to win the title in 2025 even if he will not want to give the Spaniard an advantage over Bagnaia.
