Shakedown in Sepang (January 31 – February 2): this test reserved for rookies and test drivers opens the testing season. The three newcomers to MotoGP, Fermin Aldeguer (Gresini-Ducati),
Somkiat Chantra (LCR-Honda) and Ai Ogura (TrackHouse-Aprilia), will have the opportunity to discover their machines alongside the test pilots.
The teams Honda et Yamahabenefiting from concession status (group D), will also be present to refine their prototypes.
Official Tests at Sepang (February 5 – 7):
all MotoGP riders and teams will take to the track for the first full test of the year, with expectations high for manufacturers looking to dominate from the start.
Tests in Buriram (February 12 – 13) : Testing will continue in Buriram, marking the end of official winter testing before the start of the 2025 MotoGP season.
2025 In-Season Tests
Three days of official testing are scheduled for the Monday following three major Grands Prix: Jerez (28
avril), Aragon (June 9), i.e. a new test added, replacing that of Mugello and Misano (September 15).
These test days will allow teams to test new configurations and optimize their settings.
For the End of Season Test, it will be a return to
Valencia on November 18. The end-of-season test after the championship final, initially scheduled for Barcelona, will ultimately be held in Valencia as in previous years. This session will be crucial to prepare for the 2026 season.
