Marc Marquez took advantage of a promotional event organized by Estrella Galicia 0,0 to take stock of his 2024 season, the first 2025 pre-season test and his goals with Ducati.

The season he needed: “As I told the Gresini team, I didn't win a title but I won much more on a personal level. I managed to find myself and extend my sporting career. I had a lot of doubts in my head, which were resolved in a very good way. (…) I got the answers to the questions I had, and in a positive way. I'm competitive, that was the main thing, and next year I will have the best bike on the grid, the best weapons to fight for the title. I will try to continue with this joy, because if you are happy, you are fast. »

The Barcelona test: “On a test day, the first in a new team, the main goal is to get to know the people. I spent 90% of the time with the GP25. Pecco like me had the same advantages and the same problems. There was a difference between the GP23 and the GP24, and from the GP24 to the GP25 it's different. The step forward is difficult to see at first drive, but it is there. I feel ready to give specific feedback to the factory. It's fortunate that they are the same as my teammate's. »

Working with the Ducati factory: “I noticed the differences and that’s when you understand why the Ducati is where it is. It’s action-reaction. And last Tuesday (after the test), at 11 p.m., I already had messages about the direction we were going to take. This is something I hadn't experienced before. »

The next few weeks: “My challenge is to have a complete pre-season, where I can prepare well physically. Logically, I would like to fight for the title. This is why I am with the best bike and in the best team. I have all the weapons to fight for the title, now it will be in my hands. »
