The Silverstone circuit, which usually hosts the MotoGP British Grand Prix, was already covered in snow in November, when the riders took part in the first Test of the 2025 season near Barcelona. While some saw the track as a possible replacement for the Ricardo Tormo circuit in Valencia, to host the final round of the MotoGP world championship, the British weather has just demonstrated why this would not have been possible. In 2025, the MotoGP calendar event will no longer be organized in August, but in May, just after the French Grand Prix.
