MotoGP, Barcelona J1, Marc Marquez (Ducati/8): “Bezzecchi has a great capacity to adapt, he is a reference for me”

Marc Marquez has shared his thoughts on his performance during the opening day of the Barcelona Grand Prix, highlighting the challenges he faces on this circuit and the importance of learning from his competitors. The Spanish driver notably mentioned the performance of Jorge Martin, whom he considers to be an example to follow in terms of pressure management.

shared his thoughts on his and his rivals' performances at the Barcelona Solidarity Grand Prix, while discussing his future with Ducati. The Catalan driver notably addressed the duel for the title between
Jorge Martin et Pecco Bagnaiahis own difficulty at the Circuit de Catalunya, as well as his progress with his new bike.

Marquez highlighted the added pressure that comes with fighting for the title and compared the current situation to
Jorge Martin to his in 2013, during his first MotoGP title. “ I saw Jorge Martin looking for limits and taking risks, that's what you have to do.
There is more pressure, but you have to know how to manage it. I think Martin, with his experience, is able to handle this pressure well
“, he said.
Marc Marquez also spoke of the wisdom acquired through experience, emphasizing that mistakes in
Martin were learning opportunities.

Marc Marquez admitted that he still struggled on the Circuit de Catalunya, a track which does not particularly suit his driving style. “ Even when the dates change, the feeling remains the same“, he explained. Despite this, he is determined to improve his performance, as he has done in the past at other difficult circuits. He added that he hoped to improve his time compared to previous editions of the Grand Prix and aim for a top five in the race.
